Musicologist, educator, pianist

Danai Marinou is a holder of a B.Ed. in Musicology, a M.Ed. in ICT in education and a M.Ed. in Special education. She holds a diploma in piano and in fugue and has been teaching primary, secondary, special and adult education since 2005, students of different educational backgrounds, cultures and experiences.

She is a creator of several educational websites and has participated in programs of the Kapodistrian University of Athens about technological tools in education. During her years teaching in special education she has used ICT as well as contemporary techniques for the enhancement of understanding and participation of the students in the educational musical process.

She has presented her work in several conferences and fora and has been a member of several live music bands of classical, pop and alternative style.
